Strasbourg, chez J. Noiriel, 1870; in-8 of VI and 245 pages. Bradel-style red half cloth, smooth spine with gilt fillets, author and title. Scattered foxing, more marked at the beginning and end of the book. Original covers preserved. Edition of 160 copies. These miscellanies were written from unpublished documents submitted by Louis Spach, chief archivist of the Bas-Rhin region. They deal with the Battle of Hausbergen and its successive historians; the burdens and duties imposed in Alsace during the wars of the first half of the 18th century; trade and industry in the mid-18th century (tobacco, wine, textiles, metallurgy, paper mills…); the budget of the town of St. Germain in the 18th century.); the Strasbourg city budget in 1685 and 1750; General Kléber; a letter from M. de Boug, first president of the Sovereign Council of Alsace, on the question of divorce; Jacques Sturm de Sturmeck, stettmeistre, ambassador and scolarque; a princely journey to Alsace under Louis XV.
