Well bound, spine and covers preserved. A copy by Lucien Pinvert, the author of the notes for this edition of the complete works of Robert Garnier, the great tragic poet of the Renaissance. The work is full of annotations, with original letters at the end of the 2nd volume, including those from writer and diplomat Jean Jules Jusserand, Prince Victor Napoléon (son-in-law of King Léopold II), curator and academician Pierre de Nolhac… A very fine copy.
