Two volumes, contemporary red half-chagrin with corners, 5-rib spine with ornate boxes and fillets, gilt title and tomaison, top edges gilt. Janvier, chanoines de l’église métropolitaine de Tours. Drawings by Gustave Doré, text ornamentation by Hector Giacomelli. Second edition of this monumental publication illustrated by Gustave Doré, published the same year as the original.
