In folio, consisting of a page of explanations of the plates, followed by the engraved plates (plates I and II by Prévost): pl. I: “Doreur, sur métaux” pl. II: “Doreur, sur Métaux” pl. III: “Doreur sur Cuir” pl. IV: “Doreur, sur Bois” These represent the tools used by gilders. Plates I, III and IV feature vignettes of the craftsmen at work. Good condition, plate IV: missing upper right corner without touching the bowl.
