In folio with 8 pages of explanations of the plates, followed by the 24 plates engraved by Defehrt, Prevost and Benard (who engraved the majority of these plates) after drawings by Lucotte. They show craftsmen at work on a building site (plate I) and in the workshop (plate II), detailed carpentry elements, tools and numerous technical diagrams.
