Description

Leroy inherits his father’s position as commander of the gamekeepers in the Versailles and Marly parks. He wrote articles for Diderot’s Encyclopédie, as well as letters on animals, all attributed to the “Physician of Nuremberg”, published in the supplement to the Gazette littéraire de l’Europe, which were collected and published in 1781 under his name. Epidermure on spine, very slight foxing. A good copy.
