Description
Château de Chantilly – Le haut des cascades de Chantilly. Circa 1690. Adam et Gabriel PERELLE. Gravure sur cuivre. Très belle épreuve sur vergé, éditée par Mariette à Paris. Très légère auréole dans le bord de la cuvette. Dimension au coup de planche : 22,9 cm x 32 cm à la cuvette. Dimension du feuillet : 26,2 cm x 33,9 cm. Les cascades de Chantilly ont été conçues par André Le Nôtre. Les jardins anglais qui les entourent sont eux postérieurs.
