Très jolie gravure, bien encrée, de composition élaborée et très fine. Le portrait est entouré de 4 médaillons.
Jean-Frédéric Schmid était jurisconsulte, comte Palatin, conseiller de Wurtemberg et de Hesse à Strasbourg. Il résida au 11 rue de l’Arc-en-Ciel.
