Rouen. Noël Le Mire (1724, Rouen – 1801, Paris). 1775. Etching. A few light stains in the margins and bowl. Sheet size: 220 x 274 mm. Board size: 147 x 220 mm. A pupil of Jacques-Philippe Lebas in Paris, Noël Le Mire was an active draughtsman and engraver in Rouen and Paris. He was a member of the Académie Impériale et Royale des Arts de Vienne (1768) and the Académie des Sciences, Belles-lettres et Arts de Rouen (1769).
