High-quality colors, with nuances of tone in the foliage. Charles Mercereau, born in Tarbes in 1822 and died in Paris in 1864, was a draftsman of views and landscapes who contributed to albums such as &#8220;Ponts et cascades des Pyr\u00e9n\u00e9es&#8221; and &#8220;La France de nos jours&#8221;.
