Contemporary full marbled calf, smooth spine adorned with fleurons, burgundy title-piece. Slight marks on 3 leaves of volume 1. New, corrected and considerably enlarged edition by Baron d’Espagnac. The author, governor of the Invalides from 1766 to 1783, was aide-de-camp to the Mar\u00e9chal de Saxe. From the library of Mar\u00e9chal de Camp de G\u00e9nie Morlaincourt. A very fine copy.<\/p>\n
