Strassburg, Schmidt und Grucker, 1841-1849; 6 volumes in-8 with 541, 462, 571, 489, 568 and 628 pages. Half-chagrin, spine ribbed with author, title and tomaison, decorated with cold fillets. Reversal of the tomation on the spine bindings of volumes 1 and V, slight spotting, notably on the lower board of the 6th volume, scattered foxing. Vaterländische Geschichte des Elsasses, von der frühesten bis auf die gegenwärtige Zeit nach Quellen bearbeitet by Adam Walther Strobel, professor at the Gymnasium. The last two volumes deal with the history of Alsace during the Revolution and the Consulate by Louis Henri Engelhardt, professor of history, also at the Gymnase de Strasbourg.
